On the last day of March 1999 I was back at the Axiom Arts Centre, Cheltenham. This time it was to see the Heavy Metal band SAXON. This concert featured two of the original members of SAXON and two new comers, although I could only tell that they were new comers because they looked younger, musically I could not tell.

The Band came on stage at 9.45pm and performed such SAXON classics as 747 (STRANGERS IN THE NIGHT), POWER AND GLORY, DALLAS 1PM, WHEELS OF STEEL, and many more of their Greatest Hits. After an hour the band went off and we got them back three times to perform for another half an hour.

The line-up of SAXON is:-

After the show I met GRAHAM OLIVER and got his autograph.
